Designer notes: This design was created to reflect the changing relationship of the Sisters as each year brought on new adventures. Every new book is a little bit lighter shade of blue to reflect the fading denim as the girls get older. The back covers all have unique designs to reflect their respective books, for example the first back cover is where the girls are figuring everything out, so it is more jumbled than the others. The fourth book actually follows the denim seams to create a #4. The "Ann Brashares" is hand lettered.
